INTERBAU is a leading enterprise in the field of structural strengthening with composite materials. Our engineers and technicians have been experimenting with, designing and applying FRP strengthening systems since 1997. Over 200 interventions with CFRP CARBOSTRU® systems and a number of experimental campaigns carried out at the Structural Engineering Departments at the Universities of Rome, Milan, Salerno, Wien and Palermo are evidence of the company’s professionalism, experience and continued commitment to this innovative sector of Civil Engineering.

Our EXPERIMENTAL CAMPAIGNS on full-scale concrete and masonry elements made it possible to engineer and validate the following systems: CARBOSTRU® T-System, for the shear and bending strengthening of RC1 beams and slabs; CARBOSTRU® C-System for the shear and combined compression and bending strengthening of RC columns; and CARBOSTRU® for the strengthening of masonry vaults and walls;

  • 2000 University of Calabria at Rende: shear and bending strengthening of masonry walls;
  • 2001 Polytechnic University of Milan: strengthening of masonry structures with CFRP – durability and compatibility;
